All new clients start with a clinical interview (approx. 2 hours). We conduct a thorough screening and create a plan for next steps.
3. Next steps
After the interview, we schedule the following sessions. A full assessment often takes three sessions, sometimes more, typically over three to four weeks.

Preparing for your first visit
What to bring
- • Health insurance card (sundhedskort)
- • Any previous medical records or assessments
- • List of current medications
- • Name and contact info for a relative who knew you as a child (for DIVA-5)
Practical information
- • Ring 'Alethia' at the street door
- • First door on the left, ring again at the clinic door
- • Take a seat in the waiting room to the right. Your clinician will come to get you
- • Cancellations at least 48 hours before. Otherwise full amount charged
Good to know
- • No referral needed. Book directly using the calendar
- • If you're a member of Sygeforsikring Danmark (group 1, 2, 5, S), 25 or younger, and have a GP referral, you may be eligible for a refund on assessment and psychotherapy
- • You can also reach us by email (booking@alethia.dk) or phone during phone hours
Payment is made online at booking or after each session via invoice. We also accept cash (we do not have a cash register and cannot give change). If you have questions about your booking or need help finding a time, feel free to email booking@alethia.dk or call during phone hours (Monday and Thursday 10:00–12:00).
Booking questions
You will receive a confirmation email with time and location. Your first session is a clinical interview (approx. 2 hours) where we conduct a thorough screening. Please bring a list of symptoms and any previous documentation.
Cancellations or changes must be made at least 48 hours before the appointment. If you don't show up or cancel too late, the full amount will be charged.
No specific preparation is needed. However, it can be helpful to think about your symptoms beforehand. For the DIVA-5 (typically the 2nd session), we recommend bringing a relative who knew you as a child.
A full assessment including medical treatment typically costs 14,800 DKK. Payment is made online at booking or after each session via invoice. We also accept cash (exact amount, we do not have a cash register). You pay per session.
